Greenhouses in iron – glass
Modern glass-iron greenhouses, equipped with the appropriate systems, are indispensable every time you want to protect intensive crops from unfavorable atmospheric agents and/or advance the harvest.
This is done through the “dosage” of sunlight, the adequate regulation of temperature and humidity of the air and the correct administration of water and nutrients needed by the plants.
For this reason we are currently able to design and build greenhouses and related systems according to the customer’s needs, the climatic conditions of the territory and the indications of the agronomist consultants.
We boast consolidated collaborations with external partners, in particular the Broccardo Technical Firm in Savona with the professional experience of Eng.Broccardo Giorgio, specialized in the design of greenhouses and systems for agriculture, active since 2001, continuing the business of his father Franco who began collaborating with greenhouse builders back in 1969.
The metal structure is made up of prefabricated elements in high quality steel ready for assembly: columns, Joist composite beams, bracing and ridges (protected from corrosion by hot galvanizing); gutters, various currents (in aluminum or galvanized and pre-painted steel sheet); glass door profile of our design, in aluminum; various accessories in stainless steel.
The cover and the lateral infill are made with sheets of transparent or printed C (tempered) glass.
This is done through the use of aluminum glass holder profile with stainless steel head, of our exclusive production.
The ventilation is carried out by means of flap doors hinged to the eaves or ridge and perimeter compass or guillotine doors. The movement is achieved by means of worm geared motors, control axes, supports and racks.
The electrical management system consists of a general control panel that automatically/manually manages all the greenhouse automatisms, both primary (ventilation doors) and secondary, if any(internal shading systems, irrigation, heating, etc.).
Support structures
Foreland warehouses
The foreland warehouse is the part of the structure that precedes the cultivation rooms.
It is generally used for the processing and transformation of products, their packaging and their storage before distribution.
It can be equipped with suitable doors and loading points with relative platforms as well as various equipment.
Systems for greenhouses
Fixed external shading system for greenhouse
The external shading system has a dual function: to reduce the sunlight inside the greenhouse for internal temperature reduction according to the needs of the underlying cultivation, and to protect the glass cover of the greenhouse from hail.
It is made using suitably sized components anchored to the greenhouse structure. The shading net suitable for the type of cultivation is hooked to said components.
Systems for greenhouses
Fixed or mobile internal shading system (manual or automatic)
This type of system is built through the use of special sheets, which perform the dual function of shading and insulation. In fact, when closed, they retain both convective heat and radiation, allowing high power savings.
In addition, by reflecting part of the sunlight, they protect from intense irradiation and high temperatures: the climate is thus more balanced for greenhouse crops.
Supports for cultivation
Pallets
Pallets for above-ground soilless cultivation can be supplied, both fixed and mobile, in various sizes (width and length).
They are built in aluminum and galvanized steel, with funds suitable for production needs (wire mesh, tubs, carpets or other).
Aside, a short video showing the functionality of the pallets.

Systems for greenhouses
Installations for hydroponic cultivation
Hydroponic cultivation is simply one of the soilless cultivation techniques: the earth is made up of an inert substrate (expanded clay, perlite, vermiculite, coconut fiber, rock wool, zeolite, etc.).
The plant is irrigated with a nutrient solution containing the water and compounds (mostly inorganic) necessary to provide all the essential elements for normal mineral nutrition.
Soilless cultivations are essentially based on a reduction of involved variables and, above all, of mutual interferences by replacing the soil with a physical environment in which the parameters are easier to control.
Systems for greenhouses
Floating system
The Floating system is a cultivation system that does not use the soil as a cultivation layer, but only water enriched with nutritional solutions.
The system uses metal structure tanks coated with plastic material (which makes them waterproof), filled with a nutrient solution of Macro and Microelements which is circulated by means of low pressure pumps.
Systems for greenhouses
Lighting systems for forcing crops
These systems are applied to greenhouses as supplementary lighting suitable for growth chambers, micropropagation, crops, research projects and botanical gardens.
They are made with LED lamps with spectra suitable for crops and managed by remote programming and control units.
Irrigation
Irrigation systems
Irrigation systems (in greenhouses or open fields): rain, micro irrigation or drip as needed.
FOG systems suitable for increasing the relative humidity and obtaining a nebulized wetting where necessary.
Systems managed through programming units that can also be configured remotely.
